What's that in our yard?

I think I like the pecan orchard more when the trees have lost their leaves.  Except for the appearance of all (literally ALL) the aforementioned leaves on our patio.  I was a little bummed to have to go back to school on such a sunny day, but the fact that the students weren't there made the transition a little easier.
Little Miss got a real treat on her last day of Christmas break.

One of our neighbors has two boys who are verging on their teen years (I'm sure they'd appreciate any prayers you'd like to offer) and decided it was time for the swing set to leave the backyard.  So, it came to ours.
Loverboy said since they moved it over and set it up at about 10:30 this morning, she'd been inside maybe an hour, total.  Little Miss informed me that since there are electric plugs nearby, she was thinking maybe the space under the fort needed a refrigerator.  I responded that maybe since the septic tank is in that side of the yard we'll just build her bathroom as well.  The sarcasm bounced right off her and she thought it would be a great idea.  I was also kidding when I mentioned to Loverboy that we have plenty of open space for a zipline over there...he'll probably be drafting plans for it tonight.

All the outdoor time today gave Emily plenty of time for mole patrol.  They're awful on that side of the yard.  Which is a shame, because I'd love to have a big vegetable garden and that's where to bulk of our open yard space is.  And have I mentioned the deer path over there?  And the fact that we usually find several deer bedded down there every morning?  I guess I'd rather have a zipline than fat and happy moles and deer munching on my (imaginary) garden.
