Even my Wii me blinks when my/her/its picture is taken! There our family is in Nintendo format, even the dog. I realize I'm a few years off the cutting edge here, but this thing is so freakin' fun! I know I've posted quite a bit about video games lately, but, besides work misery and the absolute adorableness of Little Miss, I've not had much else.
We did, after at least four years of saying we should, try Willie and Dick's after gymnastics tonight. That seems a rather suggestive sentence. A whole in the wall seafood/burger joint we pass every time we come home from the eastern environs. Edward had the fried shrimp--deeelicious, with a very light batter. Coleslaw was lacking flavor. French fries greasy-limp. Good marks for the hushpuppies--even though I don't consider the stick variety my favorite, they were still good. Loved the tartar sauce--very mayo-y. I had the shrimp po-boy. Seafood sauce tangy, too much lettuce, needed pickles, but one of the best I've had in a while. I can't judge the cheeseburgers, since Anne was adamantly NOT sharing. And it's hard to judge since she'll only eat them plain and dry. Edward was put off by, and concerned about, the ketchup. He said he tasted alcohol, like the tomato had fermented. I got more of a vinegarish taste. Ketchup wine...hmm.
